Supporters,

Williamsport Area Little League is in the news again today. The Newberry Little League, for the first time in more than 70 years, is not chartering a Little League program for their area. Reporter Aaron James of NorthCentralPA.com writes,

"While members of the Williamsport Little League Board have already been urgently pushing Williamsport City Council to fix up the Brandon Park fields sooner rather than later, this new expansion of Williamsport Area Little League creates even more of an urgency to get those fields up and running to the state in which they were in the past."

The impending growth in Williamsport Area Little League player counts means that it is increasingly important to get the Brandon Park Little League baseball and softball fields repaired to satisfactory condition. Coaches at W.A.L.L. have already found themselves in search of places to practice and this additional growth may make it even more difficult.

As Williamsport City Council continues to discuss allocations of ARPA funding, it is imperative that our local Little Leagues are considered. Please voice your support and share our message.

As always,
