Petition updateRemove Confederate Branding from Williamson County SealTN General Assembly Votes to Restrict Changes to Government Seals

The TN General Assembly is working to amend the TN Heritage Protection Act to make it more difficult for government entities to change their seals.
This is a direct response to the years long effort to remove a symbol of white supremacy and racial intimidation from the Williamson County seal.
The Confederates are delaying with the courts, and Republicans in the General Assembly are attempting to block it by adding government seals to the list of “memorials” that are protected by the TN Heritage Protection Act.
