Sending a heartfelt "Thank You" to all of the supporters of this Petition for Huey!

Hi, I just wanted to let everyone know that the Pastor of my church has agreed to donate this mornings tithes from parishioners on the condition it be used for the burial/cremation services for Huey. I will know later today of the amount, and he even spoke of Huey in his sermon this morning when I informed him of this case yesterday. He said he cannot give the money for a tattoo or billboard, just for burial/cremation expenses only. He said, and I agreed, that "Huey was a sentient being and that his soul cannot rest until he is part of the earth or cremated" . In service this morning, he spoke about Huey, about the evil that inhabits the hearts of people, and how animals are a high gift from God. He explained to everyone there's a reason for animals. They are here on earth to help us, both emotionally, mentally, and to help mankind flourish. He said that he sincerely believes that evil/malicious spirits were inside the hearts of those scumbags because they opened that door and allowed them "to come in"...I'm not a deeply religious person, but I believe in this. He also spoke about how there has to be more awareness towards the humane treatment of animals everywhere. He spoke to a full church, reaching about 150 or so people this morning about Huey's story. Almost everyone that I spoke to this morning after service were deeply outraged. Most were disgusted and appalled, but they were also very sympathetic about the outcome. Everyone is in total agreement that both defendants should receive prison time. I will update again once more information becomes available. Thank you everyone for all of your continued support!
