The Complaint was made through the Rainbow Centre.

Who launched the complaint about Lindsay?: "One student(?) from the class would contact the Rainbow Centre to complain." Toby Finlay confirmed, “It was through [the Rainbow Centre] that they made the complaint". "They" is now a guaranteed gender pronoun in Canada's English language because of Bill C-16, and "they" can mean one or many people. Furthermore: It is so dishonest for the Rainbow Centre to have Not Owed Up To being the "one or many" who spoke the complaint. I am very unimpressed with Toby Finlay. Not cool Toby. Toby Finlay also confirmed to Macleans that he calls himself as "they". I can't phrase English grammar correctly to write that Toby Finlay refers to "themselves" as "they". "They" is meant to refer to two or many people. But the point: The "one or many" who made the spoken complaint to the Rainbow Centre could be one person, or could be a singular "they" who is employed at the centre. Transparency is needed. The meaning of how many people and who spoke the complaint must be defined. The language of "one or many" and "they" is intentionally vague. This vagueness intentionally hides who made the accusation against Lindsay Shepherd. The complainant is hiding behind Laurier's policy of confidentiality.
