Associate Professor, Greg Bird, runs petition to shut down Lindsay's supporters

Associate Professor, Greg Bird, has defined the discussion we're having, our words, as violence against the entire Wilfrid Laurier trans student community. These are his words from his own Change.org petition: "We call on the administration to immediately: 1. Issue a statement that these actions will not be tolerated on our campus. That transphobia and all other forms of hate targeting persons on the basis of gender identity and expression are being carefully monitored and actions of harassment are reported to the relevant authorities. 2. Establish measures to ensure the safety and protection of students and faculty who are being subjected to discrimination, harassment, and threats on their lives."
