Being President of the United States is a tough job.  We understand if you want to take a little break, but eventually you'll need something to do.  What better way to ease back into the workforce than by volunteering for a non-profit organization?

The Wikimedia Foundation is the San Francisco-based non-profit responsible for operating Wikipedia, the free online encyclopedia which is the seventh-most visited website in the world, written and maintained by thousands of volunteer editors.  There are Wikipedias in 295 different languages and a number of sister projects, including Wikimedia Commons, Wikidata, and WikiSource, all overseen by the Wikimedia Foundation.   These projects and the Wikimedia Foundation are committed to openness, transparency, and access to information for everyone in the world.

The Wikimedia Foundation is looking for new members for its Board of Trustees: https://meta.wikimedia.org/?curid=10176203  It is looking for specific expertise which you already possess, including experience with large-scale governance, global movements, and being awesome.  It only requires four in person meetings a year, and you can apply with your LinkedIn account so you don't have to type in your entire resume again.  The deadline is March 6, 2017.  Please apply!
