With the new Wii U launched, the users can't play 5.1 games with optical (aka Toslink). There is too much people (like me) that dont have an A/V receiver with HDMI and LPMC support, and it only works with stereo sound.

We need compatibility with Dolby Digital or Dolby Pro Logic II like your first Wii console.

We want play your games with surround!.
