I prevented our town having another unwanted nightclub owned by the convicted criminal and conman David McHugh.

Following his runner, I have done my best to keep the building safe for two years.

I am advising the new owner and put him in contact with Ashton architects Schafer Associates.

Plans are now being finalised and the building will be upgraded very soon.

I made a promise I would see this through and I have kept my promise.

I hope I can rely on your support tomorrow.
