I have now decided it is the right time to update local residents not only to keep you informed but to ensure our community is protected as much as possible. Please share this widely. I can only provide you with information that I became aware and what is publicly available. Pictured below is the convicted conman and serious fraudster David McHugh now known as David Williams. He has acquired the Fleece Hotel. I submitted the application to Wigan Council to review the premises license of the Fleece Hotel because I became aware, following its mismanagement, through my own investigations, that the premises had been acquired by this convicted fraudster. I couldn't definitively prove it, hence my application. I am pleased to report, following excellent work by Greater Manchester Police, they have confirmed this crook's involvement, hence, their pursuance of a revocation order. On behalf of our community it is my intentions to thank GMP for their sterling work in protecting our community. The Fleece Hotel was represented to the Licensing Authorities by a David Williams/Williamson on behalf of a law firm. I informed the authorities that I believed this to be the same person and in fact was previously a David McHugh the convicted conman. I am forbidden to list his criminal convictions but I can provide you with information that is publicly available :- "Kerry Accountant is a £3.5 million Conman" - http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/kerry-accountant-is-a-35m-conman-1642383 "Conman behind Kerry's Pink Rabbits" - http://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/uk-world-news/conman-behind-kerrys-pink-rabbits-948438 McHugh obtained a pub called Crewe Arms Hotel near Stoke, prior to getting the Fleece. He was evicted because he brought absolute bedlam to their local community. "Madeley Heath Pub has license revoked after excessive noise and anti-social behaviour complaints" - http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/madeley-heath-pub-licence-revoked-excessive-noise/story-23866588-detail/story.html "Pub handyman killed piglets in unlicensed slaughterhouse in Staffordshire" (using a sledgehammer) - http://www.stokesentinel.co.uk/pub-handyman-killed-piglets-unlicensed/story-25953554-detail/story.html McHugh/Williams has avoided the licensing regime in Wigan Borough. The meeting to review the premises license of the Fleece is being held at the Wigan Town Hall, Council Chambers, Library St, 1.30 pm Tuesday 29th November. Any resident can attend. I will be involved in the proceedings as the review applicant. Agenda - http://democracy.wigan.gov.uk/ieListDocuments.aspx?CId=349&MId=3430&Ver=4&a=1 Best wishes Mike Moulding
