You’re signature, their signatures have the power to bring about positive change Mother Earth yearns for. For wetlands play a critical role in the overall functioning of our planet. Over one seventh of the original pre-settlement wetland area in Canada, alone, has been converted for other uses. This petition is not just for the community of Bkejwanong. For our wetlands directly affect the purification and water quality of the Great Lakes, which in turn affects 21% of the worlds supply of surface freshwater.
