SUBJECT: Thank You – But The Fight Has Only Just Started
Hi everyone, it’s Jamie
I just wanted to say a massive thank you to every single person who signed the government e-petition.
It’s now officially closed, and we got more than enough signatures for it to be tabled in Parliament in February 2026.
That is an incredible achievement — we did that together.
A big thank you to Leon Rebello as well for all his support.
But… this is where the real fight begins.
The government has created two classes of injured frontline heroes — all because of a date.
And we all know one thing:
The danger didn’t just magically start on 5 February 2020.
This affects police, firefighters, and ambulance officers — real people and real families who were injured in the line of duty and then forgotten.
We’re asking for fair recognition.
To really make change, we now need everyone to jump onto our Change.org petition and share it everywhere you can.
This petition will push the message nationally and keep the pressure on.
This isn’t just about a medal.
It’s about fair recognition for injured frontline heroes, no matter what date they were hurt.
Thank you again to everyone standing with us.
Let’s keep pushing. Let’s keep fighting.
Jamie
