Good Day!

Since this petition was started in 2020, Bermuda has seen a disturbing increase in anti-social behavior and violence!  While there are other contributing factors, it is clear that a school system that doesn't adequately teach the history before enslavement results in young people who do not know who they are!  The current situation has made this reality even more apparent - and urgent!!  We need a programme to teach history in its fullness, complete with the contributions, achievements and struggles of the first people to walk the earth.  This type of programme is not only necessary, but critical if we want to stem the tide of unnecessary chaos and violence happening in Bermuda today. 

A new push for this important initiative is taking place as it is up to us to DEMAND that our children be encouraged and empowered through the lessons of a powerful history.   While there are other programmes, Ashay is here and ready to GO!!  Please share this petition and look out for public forums for more information, including at the Bermuda National Library, and on Channel 82, among others.  Our children deserve to know of the power and strength of their Ancestors' genius... it is time and we can do this!!  #Ashay
