It's that time of year when it's impossible to get into or out of a Whole Foods without being overwhelmed by the sickening, overpowering, cinnamon-scented pine cones. (Actually it seems to have started earlier this year, but that is another story.)

The stink is just overwhelming, but it also sets off my husband's asthma.

If you must carry these odious products (I guess for people who like odious products) can you at least wrap them in something to contain the smell? Or confine them to one small part of the store rather than make us walk through a gaunlet of nose purgatory?

(And don't get me started on the fossil fuel that is used to transport these stink bombs across the country for something completely unnecessary to sustaining human life.)
