The Issue
I am Diana and in 2010 I purchased a Whirlpool Cabrio washer and dryer set. I was so excited to have a set that would be energy efficent , saving on water and electric. I paid close to 2 grand for this set. I certainly expected to get many years use of the set. During the first year and a half it ran ok, ocassionally I would get an un level code on the washer. I would have to open the washer and re adjust the clothes. The clothes would also be stuck to the sides of the washer, twisting them and causing you to have to shake them out. After placing them in the dryer they still remain extremely wrinkled. About 6 months ago The problem with the washer being un leveled happens all the time now. I decided to do some research of the problem and I am absolutely appaulled at the issues I found with this set and Whirlpools failure to correct the problems and help so many consumers who have the same issues with the Cabrio's. They refuse to d a recall on the washers. I went onto the the Consumer Affairs website and there are pages and pages of complaints about the same issues. People have paid close to a 1,000.00 to repair this issue. You can just type Whirlpool cabrio issues in the google search bar and you will see the consumer affairs website about the issue. After reading all these complaints I have decided I am not even going to contact Whirlpool and torture myself with stress of dis satisfaction as many others have incurred. I am going to contact an attorney about starting a class action suit since Whirlpool is failing all their loyal customers buy not addressing this continuous issue with this washer. If I can get enough signatures on this petition then we have consumers fighting the big company to fix the product they are standing by. PLease help us with your signature. Thank you so very much with the start of standing up and protecting our invfestments of such an inportant appliance. I am a disabled single mother who is recuperating from colon cancer and can not afford to keep replacing a product that is defective.
