As an Asian American, I hold deep love for both my hometown, Taiwan, and the U.S., where I’ve embraced the values of justice, democracy, and freedom that shape me today. On this day, as we remember the tragic events of 9/11, I salute the heroes who sacrificed everything. Their bravery continues to inspire us all.

Besides, this petition was initially launched in urgency to support Mr. Ko in his pursuit of justice and due legal process. Unfortunately, despite our efforts, this justice has yet to be realized. However, the petition has garnered significant international attention, highlighting the critical need for strong democratic support for Taiwan, extending beyond its shores. 

We remain steadfast in our commitment, and your ongoing support is vital. Please help us spread the word and continue gathering petition signatures. The need for justice is pressing, and together, we can amplify the voices of those fighting for democracy and fairness.

身為亞裔美國人，我對家鄉台灣和美國懷有深厚的情感。美國更是我知識的搖籃，孕育了我對民主和自由價值的信念。今天是9/11紀念日，我永遠不會忘記那些在那天犧牲的英雄們，向他們致以最崇高的敬意。他們的勇敢精神永存。

另外，這份連署書，不變初衷，一直是急迫的希望支持柯文哲主席追求司法程序正義而發起的。遺憾的是，儘管我們的努力，這份正義尚未到來。但，這份連署已經引起了國際關注，有很多來自世界不同地方的人支持，突顯出我們之所以選擇在台灣以外的平台上發聲，是希望能為台灣爭取更強大的民主支持，不再侷限於這個小座標。
