Kyiv Medical School requested international students to come to Poland, informing them that they had established a campus there. The university issued them documents to use to enter the country. 

However, we have been informed on Wednesday, law enforcement in Poland picked up four Kyiv Medical School students, who were subsequently imprisoned. The law enforcement officers took mug shots off the students and told them that they had entered Poland illegally. The students informed the university of their situation, but the university did not take any action. 

According to the students, on Thursday, law enforcement visited the university, but the university denied having told the students to come to Poland, despite having all the necessary paperwork, documents, and correspondence.

As a consequence, the students have been given 14 days to leave the country, with the option to appeal the decision. Furthermore face a subsequent ban from returning to the European Union.
