"IGN: How likely do you think it is we will get to see more Hannibal? Clearly, there's a lot of passion for the show both from those who made it and those who loved watching it. Do you think at some point, it’s going to happen and we’ll get a continuation? Mikkelsen: I guess it's one of those things that it might be... it might happen. But I also think that it has to happen fairly soon, because in three or four years, it might not be there anymore, the energy; The urge to do it from all kind of people and from the fans. So if it happens, it's got to happen in the next year, I guess. That's all up to what people are doing and what Bryan is doing. Is there anyone who wants to pick it up and so on... So there have been a lot of rumors and so far, nothing has happened. You know, if it does happen, I think that all of us who were involved would try very hard to be a part of it. If it doesn't happen, I think we're all very, very pleased that we got three wonderful seasons with a show that was so radical and so interesting that it was kind of a shock that it was picked up in the first place. So we’re kind of grateful that we stopped at a peak before it got tired. So either way it goes, I think we'll embrace it."
