Banning massive toxic pesticide spraying on industrial tree plantations by means of community rights

Thank you for your support against massive toxic pesticide spraying in the Skykomish River Valley! As of today, over 2,300 people signed our petition. After several years working against this atrocity, we came to the conclusion that there is no other way to stop massive toxic spraying in the Valley but by means of a Snohomish County initiative. Last year, a group of Snohomish County citizens formed Snohomish County Community Rights (SCCR, https://www.facebook.com/sccr2017/). Our group is working with Community Environmental Legal Defense Fund (CELDF, https://celdf.org/) on a plan for the future county initiative. Two organizations in Oregon are in a process of passing/retaining county ordinances against toxic pesticide spraying on industrial tree plantations: Lincoln County Community Rights (LCCR, http://www.lincolncountycommunityrights.org/) and Community Rights Lane County (CRLC, https://communityrightslanecounty.org/). Several communities in Washington State (and hundreds of them nationally and internationally) are working with CELDF to solve their environmental, economic and social problems.
