Last evening, George Sweet asked neighbors to attend a meeting. After being asked by the City Council in March to change this plan and work with neighbors, he presented the same plan to DESTROY AND BULLDOZE WESTFIELD'S ONLY PUBLIC GOLF COURSE to build over 300 homes. The Neighborhood Group in attendance spoke loud and clear that this plan does fit Westfield's Comprehensive Plan and we want the golf course to stay!! The City Council can say no to a zoning change and this is what we continue to ask that they stay steadfast in their commitment to SAY NO to a change in zoning and represent the voice of the community. Mayor Andy Cook and Council members Cindy Spoljaric, Chuck Lehman, Jim Ake and Steve Hoover were in attendance. We thank them for taking the time to attend this very important meeting about the future of Westfield.
