Last week we sent you information about the Sligo Greenway co-op the local organisation in County Sligo working for phase one of the Western Rail Trail from Sligo to Athenry. The Co-op is working with Sligo county council to achieve a greenway from Collooney County Sligo to the Sligo Mayo border at Charlestown. To become an active part of the movement you can become a member of the Co-op by buying a share, and yes you can buy just one share for €1. Of course the co-op would prefer you to buy more than one share! That is your choice, once you are a member, that is it, you remain a member forever! The funds raised are being used to fund the feasibility study and keeping the campaign going.
