The RSPCA will engage ten NSW Councils to set out a framework for responsible cat ownership. 

“We are excited to be working with our council partners and communities closely over the next four years to initiate real change in the way people care for cats as companion animals,” RSPCA NSW CEO Steve Coleman said.

It is hoped the $2.5 million initiative will pave the way for implementing greater restrictions on cats throughout NSW.
