Dear Friends of Playland supporters - thank you for signing this petition and for caring about the Park. There hasn't really been any news for a while, but I thought it was time to bring everyone up-to-date on what's been going on since this petition was first started two years ago. The petition remains open for signatures, although now that Rob Astorino is no longer Westchester County Executive (he was defeated in Nov. 2017 by George Latimer, who took office on Jan. 1, 2018) it remains to be seen if the petition will be necessary. My plan is to forward this petition to the new County Executive and his administration, hoping for better results than we got from the previous one.
