Pedestrian safety measures are sadly lacking along this major arterial route, a lack of a footbridge over the A24 Dual Carraigeway and sufficient street lighting between the Hop Oast Park and Ride and The Boars Head Public House, also a traffic light controlled crossing is required at the point of crossing adjacent to the Salisbury Road junction.
