The Issue

Update: State Lawmakers (Representative Klippert) has filed an emergency legislation to stop this and prevent this from happening every again. PLEASE Call 1-800-562-6000  or online at:                                     http://app.leg.wa.gov/billsummary?BillNumber=2238&Year=2017

and tell them that you want to support HB2238 and that you want your representatives to support it as well!

This is all about location. We would be fighting a McDonalds, tavern, sports arena, a mega Church with loud church bells ringing every hour. It is not about the marijuana, its about the traffic, the noise, the increased lighting. Our area is not designed for this. My kids ride their bikes, wait for their school bus. There are no sidewalks and barely any shoulder for these kids to wait for their busses and walk home. The road is very narrow, and with the amount of kids that do catch the bus, it is a problem. The increase noise, night lighting, and traffic will negatively impact our quiet area. This is not the place for any major retail place to set up shop. Please help us keep our quiet neighborhood
