Idaho's suicide rate is 46% above the national average and we think that giving students a few mental health days each semester would greatly benefit our youth. In the 2019 Idaho Youth Risk Behavior Survey 22% of students said that they had seriously considered attempting suicide. We need to save Idaho's youth from this statewide mental health crisis.
