BIG NEWS in the Wendy's Boycott:  Starting today, March 1st, farmworkers from Immokalee will be taking 12 days away from work and their families to embark on a cross-country human rights tour, demanding that Wendy’s join the award-winning Fair Food Program. The CIW will be joining forces with students at four leading state universities — University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Ohio State University, University of Michigan and the University of Florida — who have been ramping up pressure against their administrations to boot Wendy’s off campus until the company puts human rights on the menu.

Just last week, students at the University of Michigan declared a major victory in their "Boot the Braids" campaign when it was announced that Wendy's would not be welcome on campus until it joins the Fair Food Program. Join farmworkers, students and community leaders in making the urgent and timely call for Wendy's to support fundamental human rights for the women and men who harvest the food we eat.
