Thank you so much for supporting the Wendy’s Boycott! In just one week, over 3,000 people have joined the fight to ensure that Wendy’s protects the basic human rights of the workers in their supply chain by joining the Fair Food Program. Now let’s make sure they hear our voices. Please use this link to send a tweet to Wendy’s, letting them know you have joined the boycott: http://bit.ly/2bcbISb -- Wendy’s is the only major fast food chain in the U.S. that has not joined the Fair Food Program. By refusing to do so, Wendy’s not only derives a major cost advantage over their competitors, but they also provide a market for less reputable growers. By paying only one cent more per pound of tomatoes they purchase and only purchasing from growers in good standing with the Fair Food Code of Conduct, Wendy’s would be doing its part to protect the basic human rights of the workers in its supply chain – and could help to expand the Program to cover thousands of more workers in new crops and new regions. Use your voice to amplify farmworkers’ demands for dignity and respect in the fields! Please use this link to tweet your support for the ever-growing Wendy’s Boycott: http://bit.ly/2bcbISb By using our voices and committing to #BoycottWendys, we can make real change. Thank you so much for standing with us.
