The battle is far from lost.  Even though the bill to determine that the north east rail line is to be declared a strategic infrastructure corridor has not reached the lower house, the Legislative Assembly has anticipated that occurring and set up a Select Committee to evaluate the evidence.  We think this is most appropriate, because one of the evidence put forward by the cycle lobby has ever been scrutinised, whereas both NERAF Inc and L&NER have been thoroughly investigated and, despite Dept Finance using a discredited report (Raylink) has still found that tourist and heritage rail is viable.  Don't stop now, give it your vote!
