Proposal REJECTED by Wembury Parish Council!!!!! - Well Done Everyone :)

Fantastic news everybody, the result from the Parish Council Meeting this evening was an amazing success. The Parish Councillors unanimously rejected the proposal based on the depth of public concern and despite their own views on the health concerns!!! This is a wonderful result for us all, and democracy as a whole, and only happened as a result of the strong oppostion they found in the community, and the sheer number of letters, emails and phone calls that they recieved from us all. Most of the Councillors in the end voted to reject the proposal, purely due to the response this has generated. The response has been overwhelming to this petition and the paper version circulating the parish. Thank you for getting behind this, your have all contributed immensely to the argument against a mast that close to the school. We spoke together and that was so powerful this is a victory for us all and most importantly our children!!!. - Well done, and thank you for getting involved. XX
