Hello all,

This petition is simple. We're asking that Webster's Dictionary accept "Chiplap" as an alternative entry for "Shiplap."

With everything that Fixer Upper's Chip and Joanna Gaines have done to educate and excite people about shiplap, we feel it's only right that everyone start referring to it as Chiplap. I mean, they basically put shiplap back on the map. It's always been right there under the drywall, but without Chip and Joanna, that's probably where it would still be. They are basically lumber archeologist. 

Here is a list of very convincing reasons to make the change

1.  It's just one letter. So, it will be easy to change. Just press backspace and then C. Boom. Done. 
2.  Demo Day is the best
3.  Nobody puts shiplap on ships anymore
4. Most people only know about shiplap because of Fixer Upper 
5.  It would be hilarious if this actually works
