Melody's Music Complex CIC is under attack

Multi-award winning Studio Owner Melody had poured in over £70,000 of her own private funds to take on a fifteen year lease for the ex Barclays Bank building on Kennington High Street in Lambeth.

The property was obtained to build a community based facility by the name of Melody's Music Complex in which there were plans to renovate the unused unit, into a phenomenal state of the art recording facility. Melody's funds were used to cover half a years deposit, stamp duty and legals fees and over the course of 14 months, also paid for extensive architectural drawings, health and safety and building control surveys, project manager visits; as well as a contracted team of several experts and consultants, to support with the projects development and Bid Writing.

Multiple grant applications and sponsorship proposals have been drawn up and submitted, to generate funds for the fit out of the musical creative space; in which it was estimated to attract over 100, 000 aspiring musicians per year once built.

After falling 4 weeks behind in rent for the first time since obtaining the property 14 months ago the building was reprocessed on the 30th Jan 19. On attempting to bring the rent up to date the following day Melody was denied reentry which has remained the case ever since. Melody has been accused of using the property for unauthorised use after she allowed a temp fund raiser inside the unit the weekend before.

The building's management agent has made several derogatory accusations towards Melody in regard to her intentions for the building and it's future use; specifically questioning her intention to ever establish Melody's Music Complex. The landlords had no justifiable cause not to allow Melody reentry once her rent account was brought up to date, however they have refused leaving Melody with only one option- which is to seek legal counsel in order to apply for relief of forfeit and to investigate this seemingly discriminatory action.

Melody Music Complex CIC needs immediate help to petition the management agents to reinstate the companys lease agreement with immediate effect, encouraging a positive outcome to address what can only be interpreted as racially motivated, discriminatory and defamatory allegations made against Melody as an award winning music industry professional. Melody's first started in 2004 in which she created the UK's first pay as you go studio 'Instant Melodies' which was featured in a channel 4 documentary; in 2005 she went on record some of the biggest UK urban stars known to date in which her facilities helped to pave the way for countless successful careers within the industry.

PLEASE HELP!
