Dear cat friends and lovers

Please help Peggy's family and her son Germey

A poem for Peggy.

We will meet for coffee and cake. Back then, I saw you a few times near my old apartment; you looked gorgeous—a stately feline lady strolling along the sidewalk with your sons. I gazed up at you longingly and couldn't resist your sunny disposition. I met your son, Jermey—a sensitive, clever boy who knows that Newton was wrong about most of his theories and who can already teach his teachers at school many a lesson and correct their mistakes. Jermey, your son, crept honestly and gently right into my heart. You worried about Jermey and thought I was a criminal, when all I do is look after him as a good friend. Jermey and I have had our ups and downs, but we've weathered the trials of disaster and societal ills and gotten back up—like a boxer rising from a knockdown. You complained, Peggy, and I responded. I suggested we meet for coffee and cake to talk about Jermey, and you agreed. We will meet for coffee and cake, Peggy, to talk about Jermey and my relationship with him. And I know, Peggy, that the honest, sincere heart Jermey has developed wasn't shaped by teachers at school, but gently molded by the soft and wise hands of his enchanting mother.

P.S. I don't want to go out with Peggy.

Best wishes.
