A poem for Hanna.

Dear cat friends and lovers.
A poem for Hanna.
You have mingled with my fans.
Once you were a queen, surrounded by musketeers who lay at your feet, swirling under your spell. It has been a long time since you approached my cave . you have missed the days when I gathered around me a bouquet of the finest roses in town—roses that circled me like helicopters, protecting their king all week long. You have returned, forced your way among the other roses, and fought for a place of honor in the cinema where my film plays daily, garnering the best reviews in the country. You mingled with my fans until finally—step by step—you took the lead and secured your place; from the park, you look up at me, at my window high in the sky, and urge me, like a wounded tiger, to descend from my palace and surrender my crown to Your Majesty.
Best wishes
