GETTING NOWHERE FAST

So many people, so much anger, such rage on social media .. everyone's got something to say, BUT FEW DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT ... out of the media, out of mind. If so many people care why has a petition I have been circulating since July only had 1,230 signatures? 3 times more than that have viewed it but not signed... my petition calls for a mandatory jail term for anyone found guilty of child abuse, harsher sentences and sentences to be fully served. Why are people so complacent? 37,000 people signed a petition to save an old dog from being put down .. aren't children more important?
