Petition for Transparency, Accountability and a Full Investigation

We, the undersigned members of the Westminster International community and its alumni, are deeply concerned regarding the recent alleged incident involving the reported assault of a three-year-old child by a member of the janitorial staff.

Following the incident coming to the attention of the child’s parents, concerns have been raised regarding the response of the administration and whether the matter is being investigated with the seriousness and transparency it requires. In particular, concerns have been raised about the availability and review of complete CCTV footage and whether all relevant evidence is being properly examined.

An allegation involving a child of this age is not a small matter and deserves the utmost seriousness, transparency, and accountability.

Through this petition, we call upon the administration to:

Conduct a thorough and impartial investigation into the allegations.
Preserve and review all relevant CCTV footage and other available evidence.
Provide the parents with clear and transparent answers regarding the investigation and the steps being taken.
Address concerns regarding any gaps or limitations in the available CCTV footage.
Ensure appropriate measures are taken to protect students and prevent any similar incident from occurring.
We are not seeking to prejudge the outcome of the investigation. We are asking for answers, transparency, accountability, and assurance that the matter is being treated with the seriousness it deserves.

By signing this petition, we stand in support of the affected family and call for a proper investigation and for justice to be served based on the facts established through due process.
