So far, we've had no luck.  So this is what has happened so far.  At Mr. Ron's sentencing, his court-appointed attorney told both him and me that he would most likely get another attorney automatically because he had a court-appointed during trial.  Well, after he got transferred to prison, we found out that he didn't have an attorney, and even though we filed a motion for him to get an attorney, the court denied his motion.  Assuming that meant the court was forcing him to represent himself, we filed a motion to get the court records required to complete his appeal and/or post-conviction relief.  Our request for the court records has been denied, but his appeal was granted to continue!  His rights keep getting violated every day.  Even the medical staff at the prison is denying us his medical records, even though I have a medical power of attorney over him.  I had to fight with them over email because they were trying to tell me that the POA was only good/valid if he became incapacitated.  I kept giving them the exact wording in quotation marks and told them that wasn't true when it came to medical records.  I fought with them for the past week or two and today they finally granted me access to his records.  They are mistreating his medical conditions and he has reported that his legs and feet are black and blue, which they were not that way before he got arrested.  I also went to the court today and went to their law library to look up his case, and there were so many contradicting statements and info that my jaw dropped to the floor and I started crying my eyes out.  How could the government get away with doing all of this to someone innocent?  The amount of energy they are spending trying to keep my father locked up, they could be spending it trying to lock up a real criminal: someone that beats up people, rapes people, kills people, but instead they're spending it trying to lock up an innocent person, one whose life has been already completely messed up by other traumas.  This is why we need more people to sign to add volume to his voice.  And to be the voice for other victims of this trend of injustice and corruption that's in our government that every single person in the USA pays to serve and protect us!  Their job is to serve and protect us from the exact things they are doing to us.  This is why more signatures will make a difference because this needs to stop.  Please keep sharing this petition and spread the word that We the People are fed up and we will not tolerate it anymore.  Thank you.
