Last week, my father, Mr. Ronald Lerch, called me from jail and brought it to my attention that the arresting officer who tackled him to the ground injured his wrist more than it already had from a recent motorcycle accident.  I immediately filed a complaint with Mesa Police's internal affairs.  I received a response not even an hour after filing, saying my complaint was not accepted because "they were already aware of the situation/it had already been investigated."  I immediately filed another complaint, and I wrote, "I barely found out about this incident a few days ago, so it's impossible that you guys know about it.  I demand that you guys do a thorough investigation about this and hold your officers accountable!"  The good news is that the complaint is still pending, along with the complaint I filed with the Commission of Judicial Conduct against the judge for allowing the arresting officer to lie under oath while testifying against my father.  Mr. Lerch's sentencing got reset for the third time to December 19, 2023, at 8:55 A.M.  I will keep all of our supporters posted.  Thank you all for your support.

P.S.  I also plan on organizing a protest in downtown Mesa, Arizona, this week or next week.  For those who do not live in Arizona or who cannot make it, I'll try my best to record video and take plenty of pictures to try to keep every single supporter involved.  Thank you all once again!
