Hi all,

The goal was to get this petition to 100k signatures in 30 days, in order to increase our chances of getting a formal/legitimate response (per the constitution) versus that auto-reply we get for everything. 

Considering we are nowhere near that number and have passed the 30 day mark, and my only options on this petition are to "Declare victory" or "Close petition," I've emailed The White House/POTUS directly with a message and included the link to the petition/full letter. I'm also going to send the letter/petition with signatures via snail mail, because why not?

Thank you all for the support so far, and I'll keep you posted if/when anything else comes of this.
