I wanted to update everyone to confirm that our petition was formally submitted at the Ordinary Council Meeting on 10 December, presented on our behalf by Cllr David Kendall.

In total, the petition received 1,230 signatures, made up of both online signatories and residents who signed the paper petition through door to door engagement. This shows the strength of local feeling and the level of concern within our community.

Alongside the petition, a group of us are continuing to work behind the scenes on a detailed and robust defence against the proposed development. This includes reviewing planning policy, highway constraints, infrastructure capacity, and environmental issues so that residents are well prepared when any application is submitted.
