Hi,
Like me, I'm sure you’re completely opposed to the devastating cuts proposed to disability support this week.
The Government should not be balancing the books on the backs of the poor and disabled. It should be making the wealthiest pay through a wealth tax.
We need to build the biggest movement possible against these cruel cuts to stop them becoming law.
That's why I've launched a new petition calling for a wealth tax, not cuts to disability support.
I will be presenting this in Parliament ahead of any votes on these cuts as one way of showing the strength of opposition there is to these cuts.

Slashing disability benefits instead of taxing extreme wealth is a political choice - and it is the wrong choice.
Instead, a 2% Wealth Tax on assets over £10 million could raise up to £24 billion per year.
That’s far more than the £5 billion the Government claims it will “save” by cutting key financial support for disabled people.
So join me in calling on the Government to abandon these cruel cuts and, instead of punishing the poorest, to implement a Wealth tax on the very wealthiest.
