Thank you so much for signing the petition and supporting greater access to our public pools. I’m excited to share an important update: Rec and Park has introduced a pilot program that marks a significant step toward expanding public access in the city on Sundays and Mondays!

To make seven-day-a-week swimming possible, Rec and Park will adjust the schedules of Garfield and Rossi pools to Sunday-Thursday. Meanwhile, all other pools will remain open Tuesday-Saturday, ensuring that San Franciscans have daily options for swimming at a variety of locations.
