Dear petitioners,
I hope this email finds you in good health and high spirits. I am writing to express my heartfelt gratitude for your support and to provide you with an important update regarding the petition you signed regarding family swim schedules in San Francisco.
First and foremost, I am thrilled to share that our collective efforts have been met with an overwhelming response. As of now, we have garnered an impressive 801 signatures, including yours. This level of support demonstrates the significance of our cause and highlights the shared desire for positive change within our community.
I wanted to keep you informed about the progress we have made thus far. Two weeks ago, with the assistance of Supervisor Hillary Ronan, we were able to establish contact with Phil Ginsburg, the Director of San Francisco Recreation & Parks. I am grateful for this opportunity to address our concerns directly to the decision-maker. Mr. Ginsburg has expressed his willingness to consider our requests and has assured us that adjustments to the weekday family swim schedules will be explored to better align with after-school activities, starting in the fall.
While this news is promising, I want to be transparent and acknowledge that we are yet to receive a clear and definitive solution. We remain hopeful that our voices are being heard and that our collective efforts will lead to the positive outcome we seek. The more we continue to discuss and advocate for our cause, the greater the impact we can make.
Therefore, I kindly request your continued support in spreading awareness about the petition. Your voice matters, and sharing the petition with friends, family, and colleagues will help us amplify our message. Together, we can make a difference in creating family swim schedules that accommodate the needs of working parents and ensure quality time for families in our community.
As we eagerly await further communication from Mr. Ginsburg and the San Francisco Recreation & Parks Department, I assure you that I am committed to providing regular updates on our progress.
Together, let us continue to champion change and work towards a positive outcome that benefits families throughout San Francisco.
Warmest regards,
Sandra
