Hi All

Re the meeting which was held on the 28/07/22

Top of the Agenda and must do was to get as many people to fill in the TfL questionnaire as possible, it was raised that not many people have access to the internet if this is the case there are other options

1.    Post your concerns no stamp needed to:

FREEPOST  TFL HAVE YOUR SAY (CLBR)

2.    You can telephone on 020 3054 6037 and leave your name and contact number and they will call you back. Please quote ‘Bus Review’ when leaving your message.  – When they do call you back they will make note of your concerns and will add these to the consultation paper.

3.    By email to: Haveyoursay@tfl.gov.uk(External link);

So please if you haven’t already done so please fill in the Questionnaire using one of the above methods we have until the 7th August to do this.

Highlight any issues you will encounter with the proposed new route/changes especially at interchange stops.

There were over 50 attendees who came to the meeting, which was a really good turnout

The meeting discussed both petitions, which are running at the moment

·      Save the 12 Bus - George Mavrias

·      Save Southwark Buses - Southwark Council

Speakers included:

·      Elly Baker – London Assembly

·      Cllr Catherine Rose – Southwark Council Cabinet Member

·      Polykarpos Pantelidis – Salvation Army

·      Unite Union Reps – Camberwell Garage

Plenty of discussions re what was happening (awaiting minutes from meeting)

Regards

George
