Dear Friends:

I just added a personal opening that reflects the urgency & reality of what we're trying to accomplish by "just signing another petition." We are not signing to sign. We are signing to end HIV/Aids in our lifetime. If you've lost a friend or family member to this disease, have friends who may be at risk of contracting it, care about underserved communities in America: POC, LGBTQ, Women, the Poor. Please help me publicize this issue. I need more signatures so I can speak to Congress. This is not an exercise in futility. I've posted a YouTube video from 2016. It's 2019 and we're still not talking about the fact that we can stop the new HIV cases with one simple, prophylactic drug that could be made available to IV drug users, and ANYONE at risk for taking on the burden of HIV disease. I survived the AIDS crisis. I also remember it! Please help me to focus Congress on something we can accomplish TODAY! PrEP saves lives-- I know many of you are busy and devote much needed time to other social issues that are equally important. But it takes just a moment to ask a friend  to sign a petition. A petition that could give me the leverage I need to schedule a meeting with Congress, to get the conversation more publicity. Please help me change the world today.
