I had not heard back from either of my email or online submissions, nor from the petition itself, but I did just get off the line with a customer service representative at 800-527-5476. She was aware of our issue, said they had been receiving the petition signatures, and are "currently investigating." I requested a higher level response by tomorrow given likely comments at today's Council meeting, further signature gathering, and possible pickets and media attention later in the week. I will keep you posted, but for now it's best to KEEP THE PRESSURE ON by sharing the petition on Facebook, gathering more signatures, and planning some picketing for later in the week and over the weekend.
