Twitter’s First Fact-Check of Trump

Yesterday, Twitter; knowing that blocking the president isn't best, began essentially fact-checking President Trump. Going forward, when Trump sends a tweet that is questionable or lacks the presence of fact, Twitter will add a “get the facts” link to that tweet. Although the link isn't added in real-time, the company recognizes the need to protect and its responsibility to its user community.

When the presidential candidates take to the debate stage, I think it's only a reasonable and responsible thing for the networks/moderators to immediately correct half-truths and lies outa by any candidate. We should not allow Americans to be fooled or lied to when we can actually do something about it.
