Peckham needs your help!

Our community campaign has convinced Southwark Council to REJECT Berkeley Homes' application to build a massive development luxury flats in the heart of Peckham. In their plan just 50 of 867 homes were allocated as social housing – in a Borough where one local school has 80% of children registered as homeless.

Unfortunately, the story doesn't end here. Berkeley are now asking the government to overrule the Council and the view of our communities, and force the development through at a planning inquiry being held in October.

We are not going to stand on the sidelines – we are now urgently raising £50,000 to pay for legal representation and to make sure the community's voice is loud and clear.

We will be holding fundraising events and are asking anyone who can afford to do so to make a donation on the CrowdJustice fundraising website once it goes live on September 9th. Look out for more updates at the time.
