Over the past few weeks several former and current WE employees have been contacted by the WE review team, an independent body including an equity, diversity and inclusion advisor and McCarthy Tétrault LLP. This process has been prompted by the WE Charity Board of Directors commitment to anti-racist action.

As with any process it is critical to consider your involvement. It is important to note that anything disclosed in your interview could be shared with the WE Charity Board of Directors, and in turn they could decide to share that information more broadly.
At this time the review team has not shared details surrounding a social worker/emotional/psychological support worker. Try to make sure that prior to engaging you have support, especially if sharing your experience brings forward any degree of trauma.
