Almuthani Alsuaidan was a 6 year old boy who passed away on the 4th of May last year after long periods of struggling with Cancer. According to his doctors, surgery could have saved him however this could not be possible without the Fathers signature or permission. The mother fought tooth and nail to get her ex husband to sign the forms but he refused too, because he wanted to punish the mother of their child for divorcing him. So by not signing the forms for the litte boy to recieve the surgery, it was a form of revenge. The Mother pleaded to the Saudi government for them to change the laws so that her son can have the surgery without having to get permission from her ex husband. But unfortunatley, due to the system that operates under male guardianship, the law was in support of her ex husband and as a result the little boy passed away. Almuthani could have been alive today if it wasnt for the cruel treatment that this mother had recieved from her government and her deranged ex husband.
