Hey Guys! I see the petition is growing VERY fast! We have become a movement, our voices are spreading like wildfire and I would really like for us to keep up this momentum! Anyways some of you may be wondering what my title is about. For those who dont know, Raif Badawi is a Saudi Arabic Human Rights activist male who is imprisoned for blogging about the atrocities that take place within the state. Basically his story became viral and caught everybodies eye. Please note: What I am about to say is not intended to sound insensitive but it simply comes from someone who has had to deal with the voices of the oppressed directly. I am quite dissappointed that many Saudi Arabic Women who are CURRENTLY in Raifs position are not recieving the same international uproar. What has happened to Raif is happening to many other people as well, especially the females. So instead of making Raif a singular identity, the world needs to recognize that his freedom must also accompany the freedom of others as well. Why is it that the media and humanitarian entities are quiet about Amna Aljuaid, Dina Ali and grassroot female activists and women in trouble? I also speak for the men who we might have even left out due to them not recieving any recognition. We need to stop choosing who we want to fight for. And my words I direct to the media entities and the NGOs of the world. These women deserve EFFORT, not trending hashtags that only last for 3 days. Free Raif Badawi AND Amna Aljuaid AND Dina Ali AND Women who are silenced in their homes! Next Update will be Tommorow! Love you! أرى العريضة تكبر بسرعة! نحن أصبحنا متحركين، أصواتنا تنتشر كنيران شاعله وانا أريد منا فعلا ان نواصل حراكنا! على كل حال بعض منكم قد يستغرب ما هو العنوان عن. إلى الذين لا يعلمون من هو رائف بدوي هو ناشط حقوق سعودي عربي الذي سجن بسبب المدونه التي توضح الأعمال الوحشية بواسطة الهيئة. أصبحت قصته كفيروس وتمت إستحواذ أعين كل الناس رجاء ملاحظة: ما أنا على وشك قوله هو ليس المقصد ان يبدو حساس لكن ببساطة تأتي من شخص ما الذي يتعامل مع أصوات المظلومين مباشرة، وأنا مستائة جدا ان العديد من النساء العربيات السعوديات التي هي بموقف رايف لا يتلقون نفس الضجة الدولية. ما حدث لرايف يحدث لكثير من الأشخاص أيضا وخاصة الإناث لذلك بدلا من جعل رائف هوية فريدة، يجب على العالم أن يدرك أن حريته يجب أن تصاحب أيضا حرية الآخرين أيضا، ولماذا تكون وسائل الإعلام والكيانات الإنسانية هادئة حول آمنة الجعيد ودينا علي والناشطات، النساء اللواتي يعانين من مشاكل، وأتحدث أيضا عن الرجال الذين ربما كنا قد كنا تركناهم بسبب عدم تلقي أي إعترافات شخصية نحن بحاجة إلى التوقف عن اختيار من نريد للقتال من أجله. وكلماتي أتوجه إلى الكيانات الإعلامية والمنظمات غير الحكومية في العالم. هؤلاء النساء يستحقن الجهد، وليس الهاشتاق التي تستمر لمدة 3 أيام فقط. الحرية لرائف بدوي و آمنة الجعيد و دينا علي و النساء اللواتي أسكتن في منازلهن! التحديث القادم سيكون في الغد! أحبكم
